    Participants will be able to 

    1. Identify the two primary reasons why a therapist might be called to provide deposition testimony. 
    2. Analyze the information in a deposition subpoena in order to convey that information to their patient(s). 
    3. State the three individuals who may assert the psychotherapist patient privilege. 
    4. Identify the seven ground rules common to most depositions.



Kristin Roscoe, Esq. CAMFT Attorney

As a staff Attorney for CAMFT, Ms. Roscoe provides legal and ethical advice to CAMFT’s approximately 32,000 members on issues pertaining to the practice of marriage and family therapy in California. Additionally she creates and presents legal and ethical workshops for CAMFT members.
